The village of Torre di Palme is one of the most picturesque hilltop villages of the Adriatic coast. Sandy beaches are just 5 minutes away by car. Torre di Palme offers a unique atmosphere, that brings tourists to enjoy the view, fresh air and its beautiful Romanesque churches heritage of the Middle Ages when the small village was an important center. Cars rarely come into the village, and are left in a parking lot just below the village walls, so children can roam freely the alleys and terraces. The locals enjoy to meet outside the bar, and in the many terraces, it is very easy to get into conversation in this community where everybody is connected.
In the nearby town of Porto S. Giorgio each beach has bar, restaurant children playground, many have a basket or volley ball facilities. Just outside the village walls is a children playground with a convenient lawn where to practice football.
